Nucleus-M is a revolutionary and highly customizable 3-channel wireless lens control system.
Partial Kit V includes Left wireless handle x1, Right wireless handle x1 and Motor x2.
Full control of focus, iris and zoom is possible between the FIZ hand unit or two wireless hand grips.
You can also split channels between the hand unit and the wireless handgrip for control at the touch of a button.
The wireless communication distance between the hand unit and hand grip is approximately 300m.
The handgrip can be attached to the included rosette mount and operated handheld, or used as a top bar base gimbal with the included Nucleus-M handgrip/gimbal adapter, or as a ring-based gimbal with the optional Nucleus-M handgrip/gimbal ring adapter. It can be installed.
Each motor contains its own motor drive that communicates directly with the hand unit and handgrip. This eliminates the need to install a separate MDR on your rig, allowing for a more compact camera setup and faster setup times.
Simply set the motor and hand unit/hand grip to the same channel for full control.
The motor allows automatic calibration of the lens and manual calibration if you are using a lens that does not have a hard end stop at close focus and infinity.
The motor is designed to clamp to a 19mm or 15mm rod (using the included rod bushing).
This clamp-on design allows you to easily install and remove the motor without having to remove other accessories from your setup.
All motors are installed with 0.8 Mod, 35 Tooth, 32 Pitch. This is the standard gear size for cinema lenses.
The Nucleus-M Motor has a torque of 2.5Nm at 14.8V.
Powering the motor requires using only one power port on the camera rig. Simply plug the P-tap power cable into one of the motors and daisy chain the power to the remaining motors with a short 7-pin to 7-pin cable.
Power can be supplied to the motor from a power source capable of outputting a voltage of 7.2V to 24V.
The hand unit and hand grip are each powered by two 18650 batteries (sold separately).
The hand grip battery lasts up to 2 days on a full charge, and the hand unit battery lasts up to 10 hours.
Remote start/stop is possible by connecting the Nucleus-M R/S cable to an open 7-pin port on the motor. This allows R/S from the hand unit or handle.
