クリアスーパーミストは、おもにハレーションに影響を与えるディフュージョンフィルターです。
これにより、シーン内の照明の角度と光源の強度に基づいて、ブルーム効果またはハレーションの量をコントロールする事が出来ます。
クリアスーパーミストは、4K を超える解像を持つ2枚のショット製B270光学ガラスの間に接着された、透明で微細な、無色の微粒子でできています。
透明な粒子のサイズは、ピクセルサイズよりわずかに小さいものから、ピクセルサイズよりわずかに大きいものまであり、入射光を変化させて、自然な感じで心地良く解像を緩めて、ハレーションとコントラストに効果を与えます。 強さには1 / 8、1 / 4、1 / 2、および1の段階があります。 より強いハレーション効果を得るために1/4 が最も人気です。ハレーションフィルターは、効果が明確に表れるよりも濃度が高いフィルターが好まれています。
