This pro kit is a camera cage set compatible with Sony a1, a7S III, a7R III, a7R IV, a7 III. It comes with many related accessories that greatly enhance the functionality of the camera.
Full cage is equipped with 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receiver, and NATO rail for Type IV and VI side handles.
It also features an ARRI-compatible rosette connection and a rod attachment port for an optional single rod holder.
The rosette is designed for the adjustable top handle made by TILTA for more flexible operation and handling.
By attaching the included quick-release top handle to the cage, you can comfortably operate the camera in a variety of ways.
The top handle has two cold shoe receivers that allow you to attach an external monitor using the cold shoe accessory mounting bracket. The bottom plate provides a 1/4″-20 thread for attaching the camera to various quick release plates and also connects to the included 15mm base plate.
The 15mm LWS Base Plate Type II adds 15mm rod support to your system and allows you to mount rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The base plate bottom connects natively to Tilta standard dovetails and also supports a variety of quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The included advanced power handle attaches to the left side of the cage with a NATO rail connection. This handle features a 12V micro DC port (3.5/1.35mm) and an 8V USB-C port to power the camera body and accessories such as the Nucleus Nano wireless lens control system. The handle also allows for control of the runstop via the included runstop cable. The rotating handle and additional hand strap allow for comfortable and flexible operation of the camera system when shooting handheld.
The HDMI clamp attaches to the side of the cage and allows you to securely secure the included HDMI male to HDMI female cable to your system.
This clamp helps prevent the HDMI cable from coming loose while shooting and protects the ports on your camera body.
This is especially useful when using an external recorder.
