The Hermit POV Support System is an all-in-one solution for professional POV-style (first-person point of view) footage.
The core of this system is a lightweight, scratch-resistant carbon fiber helmet.
This helmet supports various options for connecting cameras, external power supplies, and other accessories such as wireless video transmitters.
The helmet uses two articulated rosette-based mounting arms that can support compact cameras on both the front and back of the helmet.
Two different mounting plates and a second rosette extender arm allow for additional articulation points if needed to balance more complex camera placements or less common setups.
An adjustable battery plate on the back of the helmet allows you to power your camera and accessories with a V-mount battery.
The battery plate is connected to the balance module. The balance module can be adjusted further or closer to the helmet to perfectly offset the weight of the front-mounted camera.
An additional counterweight (250g x 2,500g x 2,1000g x 1) is included, allowing you to adjust the balance according to your shooting purpose.
Multiple cold shoe, 1/4"-20, and 3/8"-16 mounting points are located on the front, top, and sides of the Hermit for flexibility in weight distribution and compatibility with most accessories. doing.
The included 15mm rod adapter and multiple lengths of 15mm rods allow you to attach your camera to your system via rod, allowing for a quick transition to rod-based camera builds. With five different mounting options on the front, back, and sides of the helmet, the Hermit POV Support System is one of the most advanced first-person shooting solutions available today.
Note: When using a heavy camera system, we recommend using a neck support to reduce the strain on your neck.
