ピークデザインをはじめとする多くのストラップをカメラ底部に取り付けるためのマウントです。
従来のトライポッド プレートと違い、薄く、目立たないので、 多くの場合バッテリードアやバリアングル液晶に干渉しません。
さらに、ストラップの片側をアンカーマウントを使って底部に繋げた際、レンズが下を向き、特に長玉を持ち運ぶときに安定感が増します。
アンカーマウントは、三脚やキャプチャーなどのアルカスイス互換品には対応していません。
