Description
The cage's top plate fits snugly over the Sony PXW-FX9's top handle and includes a 15mm LWS rod adapter on the front end for easy attachment of your camera's viewfinder.
The Tilta Battery Plate for the Sony PXW-FX9 cage (available in either gold mount or V mount) attaches directly to the back of the top plate and hugs the back of the camera. Battery plates offer several different power outputs for powering accessories.
The bottom of the cage has a SonyVCT-U14 compatible base plate that allows you to attach various accessories via 15mm LWS rods on the front or back of the plate. The bottom of the plate also features an ergonomic shoulder pad that allows for quick and easy removal from the VCT-U14 plate for immediate shoulder mounting. There are ArriStandard Rosette connections on the left and right sides of the plate that allow you to attach a handle for handheld operation (or Sony's own PXW-FX9 operation handle). The front of the plate also has a built-in lens adapter support bracket.
The side plates provide even more protection and, along with the top plate, offer several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points to allow you to attach a variety of accessories.
