Description
This is an XLR-TRS conversion adapter that can convert 12-48V phantom power supplied from the XLR terminal to 3-5V plug-in power. Plug-in powered microphones such as the RODE VideoMic GO and VideoMicro can be used with an XLR connection. The 3.5mm TRS terminal has a thread for a lock nut, and by using it in combination with the lock nut that comes with a locking cable such as the HS2 or Filmmaker kit receiver, you can prevent it from falling out and ensure a secure connection.
