You can use it by simply plugging it directly into the earphone/microphone terminal of your smartphone or tablet. Powered by plug-in power, no batteries required. A mounting bracket with adjustable insertion thickness is included to accommodate a variety of smartphones and tablets. Also included is a windshield that can be used indoors or outdoors to reduce wind blowing.
