KS-342の後継機として開発され、従来以上にあらゆる場面での運用において最大の能力を発揮する音声ミキサーです。
- 4ch 分のマイクロフォン・アンプを搭載しています。それぞれの回線は、モノラルマイク・ステレオマイク・MS マイクに対応させる事が出来ます。
- ミキサー部は、4ch 分のミキシングバスを持ち、各入力信号を独立して出力させる事が出来ます。（AES OUT が 2 系統あり、選択によって3・4ch 部分が AES OUT に切り替えできます。）
- 4ch 分のマイクロフォン・アンプ搭載の、リモートミキサー（SS-446Rex）を連結する事が出来ます。
