SC7 is a high quality shielded patch cable designed to connect VideoMic GO to TRRS compatible devices such as iPhone or iPad. Gold-plated contacts are color-coded.
Gray indicates TRRS output.
Make sure the cables match the same color, and use the TRS cable that comes with VideoMic GO for the red TRS, and easily plug it into the TRS (black) terminal on the back of VideoMic GO.
The TRRS end (gray) connects to your smartphone or tablet.
