This is a broadcast-compatible, high-quality, super-directional shotgun microphone based on the NTG3.
Ideal for recording movies, TV, sports, outdoor events, live recordings, etc. where the sound source is far away.
Like the NTG3, it offers low noise, natural sound both on and off, and is moisture resistant with RF bias technology, designed to withstand high humidity environments.
The NTG8 is finished in matte black and comes with a specially designed shock mount (SM8).
