A studio-quality performance dynamic microphone made possible by the newly developed Dualdyne cartridge.
- Employs patented Dualdyne cartridge. By installing two ultra-thin diaphragms above and below, it achieves superior acoustic performance that surpasses that of conventional dynamic microphones.
- The Dualdyne cartridge is assembled using high-precision laser welding to achieve high rigidity that maintains peak performance even in harsh live environments.
- Proximity effect is reduced to an unprecedented level, reproducing clear and natural audio even when the microphone is placed too close to the mouth.
- It achieves an overwhelmingly flat frequency response for a dynamic microphone in the mid-to-high range, allowing extremely natural studio-quality sound pickup.
- Even when the distance between the sound source and the cartridge is large, the timbre is not affected and the attenuation is extremely clear and smooth, allowing for clear sound pickup even when off-mic.
- The built-in pneumatic (Neumatic) shock mount system, which is also used in the SM58, has been further improved to reduce handling noise without affecting the low range.
- The scratch- and dent-resistant carbon steel grille is internally lined with water-repellent woven fabric for high durability against blowing and moisture.
