SHOGUN is a device with a large 7-inch monitor and an extremely bright 2,000nit screen. As a 10-bit HDR monitor recorder, it supports up to 4Kp60 with ProRes, Avid DNx, and H.265 codecs. ProRes RAW recording supports up to 6Kp30 (HDMI/SDI).
While maintaining the traditional monitoring functions and backup recording, it is equipped with a new AtomIC chipset and a new user interface AtomOS 11 that optimizes memory management. Great new monitoring and recording features like RecordAssist, PlayBackAssist, ELZone, and Arri False color support you on set.

Assist camera functions to the fullest
SHOGUN's 7-inch monitor is extremely bright, featuring an HD screen with 2,000 nits of brightness and easy viewing even in the hot sun. Additionally, through SDI and HDMI connections, backup recording and RAW signal recording is possible with a variety of digital SLRs, mirrorless cameras, and cinematic cameras. It also has extensive video assist functions, allowing you to instantly adjust focus, exposure, and your favorite LUT using the touch panel. Adjust your shots with precise framing, check exposure, and get the best camera performance with a bright, clear screen.
Additionally, it not only records uncompressed video via HDMI or SDI, but also supports RAW format, allowing you to record up to 6K RAW video at 30fps. SHOGUN supports a wide range of cameras through cooperation with many camera manufacturers.

New AtomOS11 Starts New AtomOS 11 is a new version of the operating system specifically designed for the NINJA and SHOGUN series. This update includes a slick user interface (UI) as well as many great new features. Tools are now easier to see, icons have been improved, and screen visibility has been greatly improved. The result is a device that is both more professional and significantly easier to use.
AtomOS 11 optimizes memory management and improves responsiveness to maximize SHOGUN's performance.

SHOGUN is equipped with new features based on this new AtomOS11. Multi-codec compatible - H.265 standard installed. Also supports cloud transmission up to H.265 4kp60**. New color exposure mode - Addition of ARRI false color/EL Zone system. RecordAssist - Start recording automatically by setting the start time. PlaybackAssist - Playback start time can be set. Evolution of time-lapse functionality. SegmentPro* - Automatically splits files when they reach a set size. RemoteView** - Remote monitoring function via network. Wi-Fi6 compatible. NDI HD TX compatible (paid option). We support a wide range of photography.

Atomos Remote View
Toward more efficient remote workflows
SHOGUN allows you to use various functions via Atomos Cloud Studio.
The newly announced Atomos RemoteView allows you to wirelessly share what you see on the SHOGUN screen with other ATOMOS monitors, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs. Share footage from up to four connected devices on a single screen from anywhere in the world.
*A subscription to Atomos Cloud Studio is required to use Atomos RemoteView.

Wireless sync compatible
Atomos AirGlu is included in SHOGUN and also supports wireless timecode synchronization function.
This allows multiple ATOMOS devices and compatible cameras, audio recorders, and software applications to work together, providing long-range communication and wireless timecode synchronization between devices.
AirGlu devices also act as server units and can be easily synchronized.
Save budget and time, expand your range of expression with multi-camera shots, and dramatically improve your workflow. AirGlu BT incorporates the Bluetooth timecode synchronization protocol used by many camera and audio manufacturers, and AirGlu RF is a protocol that provides long-range synchronization and control between Atomos connect-enabled products.

NDI TX compatible
NDI is a method of transmitting high-quality video using regular networks (including Wi-Fi and mobile). This technology is widely used live as the bandwidth requirements are very low. And now SHOGUN can also be integrated into the NDI environment. The NDI TX option turns SHOGUN into an NDI source that can be recognized and displayed by recognized devices on the same network.

ATOMOS Cloud Studio is a collection of innovative video production services for video creators, distribution professionals, and video producers. With ATOMOS Stream, Cloud Studio enables live streaming from ATOMOS network-enabled devices to video distribution platforms such as Facebook Live, Twitch, and YouTube.
ATOMOS Camera to Cloud allows you to upload files from ATOMOS network-connected devices to cloud-based platforms. Introduced Camera to Cloud workflow through collaboration with Adobe Frame.io and SONY Ci Media Cloud.
